This Pilet & Renaud development on the south side of Cité – Rues Basses involved renovating and converting an attractive six-storey period building. Previously home to office space, it now offers high-end residential accommodation. Although the building is protected, we were still able to install a lift and convert the loft area into living accommodation. The building is a short walk from the Russian church in a much sought-after residential and business district, and makes for extremely pleasant living. The Musée d’art et d’histoire is directly opposite, while behind the building, the pretty cobbled streets of the old town lead to numerous boutiques and restaurants. The Rues-Basses are a few minutes’ walk away, with the lake beyond them.
